Birmingham, United Kingdom, August 7, : Rohit Tokas, an Indian boxer, won the bronze medal in the Mens 67kg Welterweight category after losing to Zambias Stephen Zimba in the first round on Saturday, but both boxers had their moments in the game, but eventually the latter won the medal, winning the 3-2 victory on points.In the first round, Stephen Zimba began the match aggressively, as Rohit Tokas relied on the counter-attack.In the second round, the two boxers fought hard at each other, but Rohit Tokas bounced back to claim a crucial victory.In the semifinals, Tokas defeats Zambia's Stephen Zimba with a 3-2 loss.

The 28-year-old was defeated 4-1 by Ghanas Joseph Commey mens featherweight division semi-finals match.With this gold, he became India's 13th bronze medalist at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
