Jakarta, Indonesia – According to a Bangung police spokesperson, one person was killed and several others were injured in an explosion at a police station in Indonesia's West Java province on Wednesday shortly after a man with a knife entered the building, according to Metro TV.The explosion occurred at around 8:20 a.m., according to Batung police spokesperson Aswin Sipayung, who said the man with the knife opened the police station.Residents reported to local media that they had heard a loud blast.The source of the blast was not immediately apparent.Islamic groups have launched attacks in Indonesia's largest Muslim-majority country, including at churches, police stations, and places frequented by foreigners, according to the deputy head of Indonesia's anti-terrorism department.
