Following a World Cup qualifying match, European governing body UEFA has fined the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).As they celebrated a 1-0 victory over Scotland at Glasgows Hampden Park in October, a clip of players singing the song in support of the paramilitary Irish Republican Army (IRA) emerged on social media.The FAI and Ireland manager, Vera Pauw, apologized for the incident shortly after the clip was published.The IRA was behind a decades-long war in Northern Ireland that culminated in a peace agreement, according to UEFA.
