Former TV host Isudan Gadhvi, Gujarat's proposed chief minister, lost by 19,000 votes as the BJP raced to its best-ever result in the western state.Isudan Gadhvi, a native of Pipaliya village in Devbhumi Dwarka district, was born in a farming family.According to the latest poll numbers, incumbent Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is on course to win his constituency Ghatlodia in Ahmedabad, leading by a margin of about 1.34 lakh votes.The Congress held the record in 1985, who occupied 149 seats in the state polls.
Gujarat has 182 seats, and the majority mark is 92.The AAP is expected to push a shift in the state's binary politics, leaving the BJP with a more tenacious and strategic opponent than the Congress.AAP members have already stated that this election marks the beginning of their national movement, as AAP has already stated.
