Chamoli (Uttarakhand) India – August 13 : In Badrinath, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) dismantled a Tiranga yatra on Saturday, along with locals and pilgrims, in preparation for the 75th anniversary of Independence Day.Starting from the Badrinath temple, the yatra was carried out to Badrinath Nagar district and Mana village.A bike rally carrying the national emblem was held by ITBP personnel.People sang a patriotic anthem as people chanted.

It will be sponsored by Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to commemorate India's 75th anniversary of independence.The Government of India has introduced Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious past of India's people, culture, and achievements.The initiative is intended to inspire Indians to hoist the national flag at their homes.The aim of the project is to make the association with the national flag a more personal one rather than just keeping it formal or ceremonial in mind.The purpose of the project is to instill the notion of patriotism in the minds of the people and increase the awareness of tricolour.Before, Indian citizens were only permitted to hoist the National Flag on certain occasions.
