Jammu: A BJP councillor wants the loudspeakers removed.

Kashmiri Pand Sanjay Raut said reciting Hanuman Chalisa or offsetting loudspeakers would not solve the problems of the Kashmiri Pandits . Raut said that the common people are no longer safe, and that it has not been limited to the Pandits .

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) India-On Saturday, Jammu Municipal Corporation Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta said, a local civic body official in Jammu, Kashmir, confirmed that Narottam Sharma, a councillor from Ward Number 3 (Mast Garh of Jammu) old city area, has passed a resolution requesting the removal of illegal loudspeakers.The news came two days after a Kashmiri Pand Sanjay Raut, a Shiv Sena member, said on Saturday that reciting the Hanuman Chalisa or offsetting loudspeakers would not solve the problems of the Kashmiri Pandits and that the central government must take tough action to stop the state of chaos in the Union Territory.Raut said to Mumbai reporters, What are we doing for the Kashmiri Pandits?He said that the common people are no longer safe, and that it has not been limited to the Pandits.He also said that tough decisions will have to be taken in Kashmir to end the present state of instability.
