Panaji: Kineco Kaman Composites, based in Pilerne, has been awarded a contract to manufacture a vital component that will be used by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for India's ambitious human spaceflight project Gaganyaan.Kineco Kaman will produce the unit that will connect the crew escape module to the equipment bay.By December 2023, Kineco Kaman will supply three crew orbiter module adapters to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), a division of ISRO, by Kineco Kaman.According to Kineco Group chairman and managing director Shekhar Sardessai, we are honored to be ISROs preferred manufacturing partner for Indias first human space flight mission.

The Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mk-III is a critical component.Kineco Kaman is a joint venture between the Kineco Group and the Kaman Corporation in the United States.Kineco Kaman produces high-end composite parts and assemblies for aerospace and defense clients, including multinational corporations in the United States, Europe, and Israel.Kineco Kaman has supplied components to BAE Systems and is also a major supplier of composite parts and assemblies to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
