Kichcha Sudeep, a Kannada actor, will adopt 31 cows under a state government programme.

Kichcha Sudeep announced on Thursday that he would buy 31 cows, one for each district of Karnataka . Sudeep said that after the implementation of the Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act in the state of Karnataka, it is the first state in the region to implement the Punyakoti Adoption Scheme .

Bengaluru: Under Punyakoti Dattu Yojana, actor Kichcha Sudeep announced on Thursday that he would buy 31 cows, one for each district of Karnataka, and praised the state government's leadership for ensuring the safety of cows.Mr Sudeep said I would like to thank Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Minister Prabhu Chavan for naming me.He asked the general public and film industry artists associations to adopt cows earlier this year.Sudeep told minister Prabhu Chavan that he also adopted 31 cows, one for each district, and that he would also adopt cows like him.

Many programs have been implemented, including the establishment of the Animal Welfare Board, Animal Helpline Center, Pashu Sanjeevini Ambulance, Gomata Cooperative Society, and Atma Nirbhar Goshala, according to the minister.The purpose of this scheme is to make Goshalas financially healthy and operate efficiently with the support of the common people.Cow adoption, donation to Goshala, and public participation in cattle raising under the Cattle Feeding Scheme are all given.On the same occasion, Prahu Chavan asked actor Sudeep to join the government and contribute to the cow conservation initiative.
