KOLHAPUR (KOLHAPUR) – The number of voters in the forthcoming Kolhapur Municipal Corporation elections has increased to 8,682 from 4,53,210 in the 2015 civic body election.The KMC has released a draft list of voters.The list of 4,61,892 voters has been posted on KMCs website for the wards total of 31 wards.According to the draft list, 2,32,057 male voters, 2,29,817 female voters, and 18 other voters have been registered.

The voters who registered before May 31 have been deemed valid, as per the state election commission's rules.The wards were created based on the number of voters registered for the Kolhapur North assembly constituency before the assembly bypoll was held.KMC deputy commissioner Ravikant Adsul said, The voters should go through the entire list for each district.They should check whether their names and address are incorrect.
