New Delhi, India, November 17: On the second day of the IBA Youth Mens and Womens World Boxing Championships 2022 in La Nucia, Spain, Indian boxer Lashu Yadav made it to the womens 70 kg quarterfinals by beating Poland's Marta Czerwinska by unanimous decision.In addition to Lashus' 5-0 victory, Preeti Dahiya and the country's two male pugilists also advanced to the next Harsh put on an equally impressive showing against Hungary's Levente Olah in the 60kg opening round match, though Ashish, on the other hand, was dealt a walkover in his 54kg round-of-32 match against Nima Bayati of Iran on the third day of the tournament.On the third day of the competition, six Indian male boxers will be seen.Although Asian youth champion Vanshaj (63.5 kg), Jadumani Singh Mandengbam (51kg), Aman Rathore (67 kg), Rockey Chaudhary (80 kg), and Bharat Joon (92 kg) will fight in their respective round-of-32 matches, Rhythm (+92 kg) will advance to the pre-quarterfinals.
