Chandigarh University, Chandigarh, India, December 7 (PRNewswire): Chandigarh University, today, announced a Mobile Science Bus, which has been equipped with the latest research and practical-lab technology to enable students to practice advanced skills that are part of their course curriculum.The Science bus project is part of the Government of Indias Mobile Science Expositions (MSE) initiative, and is a joint venture between Chandigarh University Gharuan and the Department of Science and Technology (DST).Dharam Pal (IAS), the UT Adviser to Administrator, and Harsuhinder Pal Singh Brar (PCS), the Director of School Education Chandigarh; Satnam Singh Sandhu, the Chancellor of Chandigarh University; Purva Garg, Education Secretary Chandigarh; and Rajeev Kumar, Principal, Govt.govt.
The bus will be led by a team of 20 faculty members, including national awardee Dr. Jaswinder Singh (science specialist), with 4 research scientists from Chandigarh University present at once.It will feature projects and support students in completing more than 150 experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from up to Class 12, as well as information about various types of devices, techniques, and advancements in the field.For students to conduct experiments, the bus travels additional equipment.This Science Bus, according to Dharam Pal, UT Adviser to Administrator, would be a milestone in school education and learning because it would reach out to every student where they would be able to perform science practicals to improve their learning.
