Leaked UKSSSC exam questions spotlight the function of Zila Panchayat members.

DEHRADUN: The STF has learnt of the alleged involvement of a member of the Uttarkashi zila panchayat in leaking the question paper, as part of its ongoing probe.According to STF reports, the perpetrator is a former member of a prominent political party and was involved in buying the question paper from the accused employee of the Lucknow-based printing press where it was printed.After the interrogation of former UKSSSC employee Manoj Joshi, who is one of the main accused, one of the STF officers said, His name came under the radar.It has been revealed that the zila panchayat member paid to purchase the question paper from the accused in the Lucknow printing press, who has already been arrested.

Before bringing a lawsuit against him, the police are gathering evidence against him.We also have evidence of his involvement in the 2020 forest guard recruitment exam fraud.At least 45 examiners were charged with cheating in the exam hall using a bluetooth device.Once we connect the dots and gather all relevant evidence, he would face appropriate court action, according to the officer.

So far, the STF has arrested 13 people, including four government employees, for allegedly selling the leaked question paper to examiners of a graduate-level recruitment test held in December last year.The question paper was priced at Rs 15 lakh each.Over 20 students were served the question paper across the state.
