Panaji, Jan. 15: Jaspal Singh, the DGP, convened two separate meetings on Saturday with Calangute and Anjuna residents, as well as business owners, to discuss the challenges they face.At the meeting, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Omvir Singh was also present.This public outreach campaign sought to better understand the challenges faced by those in the tourism industry and to provide a platform for more such regular contact.The goal was to increase tourism while simultaneously maintaining stability and safety for the community.

Last month, the DGP launched Samadhan, a service that aims to give people a ear and assist them in finding an appropriate solution to their problems.Goa Police also published a beat police book for beat officers, with a focus on preventing violence and ensuring greater public interaction at the beat level.
