New Delhi, India, December 7: On Wednesday, Lok Sabha sessions were postponed until 2 p.m. After tributes were paid to sitting MP and founder of the Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav and eight former members who died during the inter-session period.The death of Yadav and the other MPs was condoled by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who said their contributions to society will be forever remembered.Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, a leader of the Lok Sabha, also raised the issue of refusing to give Opposition parties chairmanships to parliamentary standing committees.The Winter Session of Parliament, which began today, will last 17 days.
