Maharashtra: Two trains will operate as the Link Express.

KOLHAPUR (KOLHAPUR): Beginning June 29, the Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna express and Mumbai-Gadag express will merge and operate as a link express.At Kolhapur and Mumbai railway stations, the train rake is delayed for 12 hours.Apart from the locomotives, the entire train is only stationed for a few hours.Since the rake had to wait for 12 hours at Mumbai and Kolhapur, the Koyna express from Mumbai would travel to Gadag (Karnataka) via Solapur and return to Mumbai from where it will again ply to Kolhapur as Koyna express.

This express will come with a first-class, two bogies of 2-tier AC, two 3-tier AC, two AC chair cars, four AC chair cars, four sleeper bogies, one normal second class, four normal second seat class, and two general class bogies.
