New Delhi: On Wednesday morning, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge summoned a meeting of like-minded opposition party floor leaders to map out the strategy for the house floor ahead of Parliaments Winter Session, according to the Lok Sabha Secretariat.The session was also postponed by a month due to the Gujarat election schedule.Earlier on Tuesday, an all-party meeting was held on the Parliament premises, led by Defence Minister and deputy leader of the Lok Sabha Rajnath Singh.At the all-party meeting, both Congress and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) addressed the issue of rising unemployment, while Congress also addressed the issue of the hurried-up appointment of the ECI and EWS quota.

On the first day of the Winter session, the Rajya Sabha Secretariat released a Code of Conduct for its members.Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar will officiate the proceedings in the Rajya Sabha, who died in October after a long illness.
