The saplings planted are fruit-bearing trees that aid farmers in creating more income opportunities using the saplings.The agroforestry approach does not use the whole agricultural tract, and the farmers continue to farm alongside planting an orchard.Hence, moving towards the goal of Net Zero Carbon, this helps in the establishment of carbon sinks in agricultural fields.Mamaearth has positively impacted the lives of over 500 farmers since 2020.
