New Delhi (India), December 6: According to police, a man from West Delhi has been arrested for allegedly assaulting women he met online by making their pornographic videos and distributing them on social media.On the basis of a complaint brought by one of the victims, Aman Yadav, a resident of Subhash Nagar district, was sentenced to 469 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).In her complaint to the police on November 27, the woman said she was sent a message from a different account on her social media account, in which the unidentified user claimed to have her obscene video uploaded and made the same viral on social media.Officials say the unidentified man wanted her to form a friendship with him or he would assault her with acid.

Following the complaint, the police and a cyber police team searched the IP addresses of the suspect's social media account and located him based on the suspect's mobile number.The defendant was tracked down and arrested.According to a statement released by Delhi Police, Aman was found to have set up a fraudulent account on a social media platform about a year and a half ago and used to message other women.It added to the fact that he would monitor the profiles of random girls and then send messages to them.

According to police, the accused would start insulting the girls if they refused to comply with the law.According to police, the accused had around 1100 followers on the fake account, where most of the users were women, and that a further investigation was underway.
