The election will be held in 89 constituencies in 19 districts of Kutch, Saurashtra, and South Gujarat, with a total of 2,39,76,670 people voting by 5 pm today to determine the fate of 788 candidates in the first phase.Over 4 lakh PWD voters are eligible to vote, out of a total of about 9.8 lakh senior citizens (80+) and about 10,000 people who are 100 and older than the EC.There are 5,74,560 people aged 18 to 19 years and 4,945 people over 99 years old.There are 16,316 non-resident Indian voters, of which 125 are males and 38 are women, and there are 14,382 voting centers, including former Congress leader and BJP candidate Hardik Patel from Majura, former Gujarat governor and now BJP candidate Alpesh Thakor from Gandhinagar South.
