Police say maoists set ablaze ten vehicles in Jharkhand that were being used for the building of roads and bridges . Maoists assumed responsibility for the attack by writing a leaflet .

LATEHAR (English translation): Police said on Sunday that maoists set ablaze ten vehicles in the latehar district of Jharkhand that were being used for the building of roads and bridges.On Saturday night, the Maoists in Baskarcha, Mahuadanr police station district, tore eight vehicles, including excavators and tankers of a construction company, out, they said.These vehicles were used in the construction of the surrounding highways, according to the organization.Two more cars, including a mixer machine, were set ablaze in Potmadih a while later, according to police.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajesh Kujur, Maoists assumed responsibility for the attack by writing a leaflet.According to him, the vehicles were destroyed as a result of extortion.According to Kujur, police are conducting raids to capture the ultras.
