New Delhi, India, December 6: On Tuesday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman convened a meeting to improve the effectiveness of the Development Action Plan for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Tribe Component Fund utilization.The meeting included senior officials from the ministry of agriculture, the ministry of labor, and the ministry of housing and urban development, as well as Finance Secretary TV Somanathan.The meeting was also attended by secretaries from the ministry of tribal affairs, ministry of women and child development, department of telecommunications, department of food and public distribution, ministry of rural development, ministry of health, ministry of HRD, and the ministry of agriculture.
