Fulham drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Saturday, when Aleksandar Mitrovics brace of goals was cancelled out by strikes from Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah in the sides first game of the Premier League season at Craven Cottage.When the home side got into trouble on 32 minutes, they took the lead, and Mitrovic met Kenny Tetes' cross, who out-jumped Trent Alexander-Arnold at the far post to fly home.A few minutes later, Luis Diaz was on target to level the score, but the ball bounced back from the far post as the previous seasons runners-up struggled to cope with Fulham's physicality in the first 45 minutes.Fulham almost doubled their lead in the 57th minute when the ball was worked out to the right and Neeskens Kebano unleashed a thunderous shot that struck the far post.

Nunez attempted to tee up his strike partners shortly after coming on before levelling with a brilliant flicked finish just after the hour mark.Fulham were soon back in front after Mitrovic, who had only scored 43 goals in 44 Championship games last season, was tripped in the box by Virgil van Dijk, and the striker stepped up to strike home from the penalty spot to make it 2-1.Liverpool refused to surrender, and Salah brought them level again, poking home from close range, but they refused to surrender.Jordan Henderson almost grabbed all three points for the visitors with a stoppage-time shot, but his shot came back off the crossbar.
