DEHRADUN: Police said on Sunday that a local court in Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal district, would hear the petition for drugo tests of all three people accused in the Ankita Bhandari murder trial on Monday.The police moved the drug test application on Friday.Police had reported on December 4 that the aim of the narco exam was to find out more about the suspected VIP guest who was supposed to attend the beach.Additional director general of police (ADGP), law & order, Uttarakhand police, V Murugesan, said, The court will hear the petition on Monday, in which it will determine whether or not to perform the narco test on the accused.
According to Murugesan, the police will obey the court's order on any exam that it allows.According to the ADGP, the charge sheet will be filed in the next three-four days by the SIT, which is investigating the lawsuit.Ankita's parents announced the requirement for a narco test on the accused on November 22, during which they stated that the police are innocently concealing the identities of the VIP guest for whom the accused had requested special services and paid the price for refusing to comply.
