NASHIK: The Deolali Cantonment Board has started taking steps to ensure that disease does not arise as the monsoon season approaches.To curb the spread of dengue and malaria, the cantonment board's health service began spraying the fogging.The fogging and spraying began under the direction and instructions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rahul Gajbhiye, to ensure that the mosquitoes' breeding areas were cleared in time.The cantonment board had collected discarded vehicle tyres from all around the market area earlier this year to ensure that there was no water buildup in them that could lead to mosquito breeding.

The health department of Deolali Cantonment Board has been doing regular maintenance to make the cantonment town clean and attractive.Recently, a survey was held to see if shopkeepers were using the banned plastic bags.
