NCPCR has created GHAR-GO Home, Re-Unite to digitally track children's recovery.

The National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has developed and launched a portal titled GHAR-GO Home and Re-Unite . The portal will help in the digital transfer of cases of children to the states .

In a written response to the Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani, the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), has developed and launched a portal titled GHAR-GO Home and Re-Unite (Portal for Restoring and Repatriation of Children) to digitally monitor and track children's recovery and repatriation process, according to Irani.The portal will also assist in the digital transfer of cases of children to the state's It will aid in the quick repatriation of children.Where there is a need for a translatorinterpreter, a proposal will be made to the concerned State Government.She said that by digitally monitoring the child's condition, Child Welfare Committees and District Child Protection Officers can ensure proper rehabilitation and rehabilitation of children, said she.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is responsible for the administration of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (JJ Act, 2015), and the laws thereunder, for providing for the welfare, protection, dignity, and well-being of children.They are also required to manage the functioning of the Child Care Institutions (CCIs).Similarly, every state government has to establish a District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) for every district to handle cases relating to children in order to ensure the successful implementation of the JJ Act, 2015 and the rules thereunder.DMs have been empowered to monitor the functioning of DCPUs and CWCs at regular intervals to ensure that these bodies take prompt decisions as per the JJ Act and Rules, considering the best interests of children.
