NHAI Chief General Manager is detained in a case of bribery

New Delhi, India (India), September 23: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alleged in Patna that it had apprehended the Chief General Manager of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for reportedly accepting a bribe.According to a statement by CBI, the CGM, NHAI, and Regional Office in Patna were arrested on suspicion of accepting a Rs 5 lakh from two employees of a private company, including the bribe giver.According to the CBI, a lawsuit was filed against CGM, NHAI, the Regional Office, Patna, and others, including DGM, NHAI, Patna, on the grounds that they demanded bribes from the officials of a private company headquartered at Nashik for help in clearing inflated bills, manipulation of Measurement Books, etc.Cash value of Rs The premises of the said CGM, NHAI, were also discovered to be 60 lakh(approx) deep.
