New Delhi, India, December 9The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Shahbaz Ansari, a native of Bulandshahar, on Thursday, in a case being investigated by the police by the Department of Justice on August 4 for providing weapons and ammunition to gangs headquartered in India and abroad, with the intention of causing fear in the minds of the population.So far in this case, eight suspects have been convicted.Following a massive search operation carried out throughout the day at 52 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Delhi, and the National Capital Region (NCR), the NIA arrested an advocate here and a gangster from Haryana, Yamuna Nagar district of Rajasthan, Sikar district of Rajasthan, and Outer North District of Delhi and NCR in two cases recorded in August 2022.NIA investigators arrested him in September after finding four pistols and a few handguns (in semi-knocked condition) from his house, as part of a sweep conducted at his residence, as well as the National Capital Region (NCR).

A few gang leaders and their associates from India and abroad have been identified and arrested, directing and carrying out such terror and criminal activities.
