NMC chief requests that MIDC provide a drainage line report.

Ambad Industries & Manufacturers Association President Nikhil Panchal said there are no drainage lines in both Ambad and Satpur industrial estates . The industries are using soak pits to treat their wastes .

Nashik: The long-awaited need for industries to install drainage lines in Nashik city is expected to arise.Ramesh Pawar, the CEO of Naashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), has asked the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) to provide a detailed project report (DPR) on drainage lines in both Ambad and Satpur industrial areas.The Center will fund 50% of the funding, while the state will fund 25%.The remaining 25% is provided by the public authority.

Because of this, NMC and MIDC will receive 12.5 percent of the funds each.Ambad Industries & Manufacturers Association President Nikhil Panchal said that there are no drainage lines in both Ambad and Satpur industrial estates.The industries are using soak pits to treat their wastes.These soak pits have demolished, and the effluent is now flowing out.

However, the present NMC commissioner has promised us to consider the situation in a constructive manner, according to Panchal.
