Twitter has added a button to toggle captions on its video player . The button will only appear on videos with available captions .

Washington, United States, June 24: For iOS and Android, a button to toggle captions for its video player will be available, according to The Verge.The button, which appears in the top-right corner of the video if it has captions, lets you choose whether or not you like to see written descriptions.Last April, Twitter revealed that it began testing a CC button to display text captions on every video shared on the platform, but that it was only available to a select number of iPhone users.The option is now yours: the closed caption toggle is now available for both iOS and Android versions.

In addition, it makes the video more accessible to people in many ways, such as, it helps deaf people to see most of the videos posted online.Subtitiles are also available on YouTube.
