NSUI to GU: Declare final year results on August 18 or face protests

Panaji: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) said on Friday that the results of approximately 10,000 students, including graduate and post-graduate students, had not been announced, putting their hopes of success in jeopardy.The results of the final year examination, according to the NSUI Congress student body, were not announced until August 18.Governor P Sreedharan Pillai was also consulted by state president Naushad Chowdhari and urged him to intervene.According to reports, Pillai told the NSUI delegation that he would follow up with the university regarding the findings.Goa University is concerned about the student's future and career paths.
