TIRUPATI – On Thursday, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy opened many new industrial units and laid the groundwork for others.Jagan and local legislator Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy arrived in Inagaluru village in Srikalahasti mandal after participating in the Vakulamatha temple maha samprokshana in Peruru, laying the foundation stone for Hilltop SEZ Footwear India Pvt Ltd (Apache group).The Apache group will invest 800 crore to help 10,000 workers, out of whom around 80% will be for women, according to the CM, who said that the manufacturing unit will begin production by the end of 2023.When YS Rajasekhar Reddy was the chief minister of united AP, the group established its first industrial unit in Tada in 2006.

Although the groups' second manufacturing unit is being built at Pulivendula, a third manufacturing unit will be established near Srikalahasti.The chief minister also attended a series of inaugurations and foundation stone laying ceremonies at the Tirupati airport's electronics manufacturing center.TCL electronics group's television panel manufacturing unit was inaugurated, which was investing 1,230 crore and providing 3,174 workers with employment opportunities.Sunny Opotechs camera modules manufacturing plant was later opened, which would employ 1,200 workers and require a 280-crore investment.

The CM laid the foundations for the Dixon Technologies TV production plant, which will employ nearly 800 workers and invest 108 crore.Ongole also housed a Techbulls software firm, which is a group of 20 start-ups with the intention of providing jobs to over 800 workers.At Vakulamatha temple near Peruru village in Tirupati, the chief minister performed maha samprokshana ceremonies earlier in the morning.
