PATNA: On July 1, hundreds of devotees from around the world will perform the Lord Jagannath rath yatra, which will be performed in the state capital by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).Artists from all over the country are working on a hydraulic system that can reach 40 feet, according to ISKCON spokesman Nand Gopal Das.The scheme would be able to reduce the distance from the roadways with low lying live wires up to 16 feet, he said.At specific points, visitors can shower flowers and give arti to deities like Jagannath, Baldev, and Subhadra.

The rath would go through Taramandal, Dak Bungalow Crossing, Gandhi Maidan, Exhibition Road, Fraser Road, and Mahavir Temple, beginning at the ISKCON temple.
