One family, one post has the Hry Cong clans up at night.

Haryana Congress has proposed a one-family, one position structure . Plan allows for second seats to political families .

Chandigarh: The Congress Chintan Shivir in Udaipur proposed a one-family, one position structure would please ordinary party workers but would also provide sleepless nights to several of Haryana's top political clans, while others accepted it with suspicion. One of them said, asking anonymity, that these families have fought for their own growth rather than strengthening the organization in not only Haryana, but also around the world. They will never select or accept a new individual. If the candidates are active for the last five years, the plan allows for second seats to political families.Vivek Bansal, the Congress general secretary and Haryana affairs in charge of Haryana, confirmed that the exception was made to Haryana Congress president Uday Bhan, a second-generation politician, alongside former chief minister Bhupinder Hooda and his son, Deepender Hooda, who is a Rajya Sabha MP.

Two of the four state Congress working presidents have dual positions in their families.Shruti Choudhary is the granddaughter of former chief minister Bansi Lal and the daughter of former state CLP chief Kiran Choudhary and former minister Surender Singh.Ram Kishan Gujjar is the son of former minister Lal Singh, while Shelly Chaudhary, Gujjar's wife, is a Naraingarh MLA.Gujjar is close to Selja, the former Haryana Congress president.

Bhavya Bishnoi, the son of an ex-MP, lost the LS poll from Hisar.Chander Mohan Bishnoi, Bishnoi's elder brother, is a five-time MLA.Let us wait for a decision on the plan, says Bansal.
