Over 11,000 Cases Before the Supreme Court, Some For More Than Ten Years: Centre

Supreme Court of India has waited over 11,000 cases for more than a decade, says Kiren Rijiju . In the district and subordinate courts, 8.77 lakh civil and 3.74 lakh criminal cases are pending for more than a decade .

According to Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, the Supreme Court of India has waited over 11,000 cases for more than a decade, citing data from the National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG).In the district and subordinate courts, 8.77 lakh civil and 3.74 lakh criminal cases are pending for more than a decade, Rijiju said.
