LUCKNOW: Invest UP, an investment management company, has had a success in attracting beverages manufacturing units in Gorakhpur, Amethi, Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot.Under a fast-track system, Varun Beverages Ltd, an all-India PepsiCo franchisee, has been given permission to purchase land in these districts for the production of carbonated soft drinks, fruit pulp, or juice-based beverages.The company has decided to invest Rs 3,740 crore in total in all four plants, with approximately 5,650 potential jobs.Invest UP's CEO, Abhishek Prakash said, Under the leadership of chief minister Yogi Adityanath and under the direction of industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, the state's policy of fast-track land allotment and promotion of major development initiatives are proving to be significant catalysts in attracting investment in the state.
