New Delhi (New Delhi): Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first people to vote for India's next Vice President at 10 a.m., the National Democratic Alliance, a BJP candidate, will face Margaret Alva, a BJP candidate in the Rajya Sabha, who will be seated at 5 p.m. M Venkaiah Naidu is expected to succeed him, whose term is upheld on August 10.All members of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, including nominated members, are eligible to vote in the Vice-Presidential election.There are eight vacancies in the Upper House, so 780 members are eligible to vote in this election.
