On Friday, the late President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who had been in office since 2004, died of a long illness.Sheikh Mohamed, the UAE's Deputy Supreme Commander, was elected by President Sheikh Mohamed on January 2005.In terms of strategic planning, experience, organisational structure, and strengthening defense capabilities, he is well-known for his contribution to the UAE Armed Forces.
