Bareilly: Police said on Friday that a 55-year-old man was killed after refusing to change his account of the perpetrator in his granddaughters' rape lawsuit.Surajpals relatives allegedly assaulted the man and his two sons, who then ran home to seek refuge, while the four accused stabbed him with sticks, killing him on the spot, according to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rajkumar Aggarwal.However, his family has been pressing them for a compromise, according to Inspector Mirganj Sandeep Tyagi, who said the mans head and under one of his eyes were fractured, and that a murder trial has been registered against the four suspects.
