Thiruvananthapuram: Since two teenagers were killed in a bicycle racing incident in Mukkola near Vizhinjam recently, police have started searching for the names of all youths who were arrested for bike riding in the area.To cross check the suspects' mobile tower positions with the bike racing location, we've been monitoring their tower locations.If they are found to be in the same place, a suit will be launched against them under Section 279 of the IPC for rash driving, according to the station house officer (SHO) of Vizhinjam police station Prajeesh Sasi.Since there is no separate section to book them for bike racing, the SHO has announced that frequent patrolling is undertaken in the area to identifiee the culprits and is threatening to notify the motor vehicles department (MVD) According to the SHO, we track at least two to three incidents a day for rash driving.
