Nagpur, Jan. 26: Both the BJP and the Shiv Sena (Uddhav party) have pressed for revenge for the gang-rape survivor in Bhandara.Neelam Gorhe, the deputy chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and a senior Shiv Sena leader, has called for sanctions against the culprits.Chitra Wagh, the vice-president of the BJP's state unit, said the government would make sure the women are given medical attention apart from justice.Wagh met with the survivor at the government medical college (GMC), where she is receiving chemotherapy, on Saturday and discussed her condition with doctors.

I'm shocked to the core about how someone could do this to another human being, said Wagh.According to her, one major surgery has already been performed and the next one will be scheduled according to her condition.Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is keeping an eye on it.If required, she would be relocated to a superspeciality hospital.

According to Wagh, news reports about the case state that the number of surgeries scheduled on her is ridiculous.Once doctors determine if the patient's body is ready for the next major surgery, the decision will be made.According to Gorhe, who issued a press release, the police should charge the culprits for the henesian murder. She also said that the survivor must be rehabilated by using proceeds from the Manodhairya Yojna.

But now, our government will make sure that funds for survivors are distributed on a priority basis. In February 2020, a woman was burnt alive in Hinghanghat. The MVA government had promised the victims' families a few things. But this promise was never fulfilled in their 2.5 years as an administrator.

But, according to Wagh, our government will fulfill that promise in the coming days.
