Prior to the Assembly elections, ECI meets with political parties in Himachal

Representatives from all national political parties and office bearers were present . They described how they wished for a free and fair election .

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), September 23 : Deputy Commissioners and Superintendent of Police, IG, DIG, CAPF, and Nodal Officers of 12 districts met today with the Election Commission of India (ECI).Representatives from all national political parties and office bearers were present.They described how they wished for a free and fair election.We also had a chat with the Chief Secretaries of State, DG, and the health secretaries, and we were now going to discuss with the DCs and SPs on how we can have a fair election.

Why not people over the age of 80 will go to the polling booth and cast their ballots?Rajiv Kumar said that if people over the age of 80 may come, they will not be allowed to participate in elections.Tomorrow, the ECI will hold a press conference in Shimla, where Kumar will inform the public of the talks that are being held.Currently, the two are consulting with the DCs and SPs, and further details about the case will be revealed on Saturday.

According to the report, ECI and Chief Electoral Officer P Bharathi met with district election officers, Police superintendents, and Police commissioners to discuss election readiness.
