Puducherry MLA fasts in front of the assembly to denounce the chief minister

Independent MLA P Angalane has extended support to the BJP party . He has accused the chief minister of hindering development activities in his constituency .

PUDUCHERRY: On Friday, the independent MLA P Angalane, who has extended support to the BJP, created a flutter in the legislative assembly by sitting on a fast on the steps leading to the assembly hall.Angalane accused the chief minister and chairman of the All India NR Congress N Rangasamy of hindering all development activities in his constituency.He said the government has been neglecting the constituencies of BJP MLAs and independent candidates.In my constituency, the government has not carried out any development projects in the last one and a half years.

Since I gave my support to the BJP party, the government isn't considering my suggestions on the naming of committees.To condemn the chief minister, I am holding a one-day token fast.He must be removed from the forum.According to him, the BJP must form the coalition government.

Angalane was sent to lieutenant governor Tamilisai Soundararajan by BJP leaders, who advised home minister A Namassivayam to approach the chief minister and address the issues.Speaker R Selvam, who invited Angalane to his chamber earlier today, promised to address the issues with the governor and the CM.Kalapet BJP MLA P M L Kalyanasundaram also aided in the Angalanes demonstration.
