Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he would send his Punjab counterpart Charanjit Singh Channi copies of one lakh zero amount Delhi electricity bills.

In addressing a gathering in Punjabs Mohali on Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that he would send his Punjab counterpart Charanjit Singh Channi copies of one lakh zero amount Delhi electricity bills and told him to display even 1,000 such bills of his state.Mr Kejriwal said that unlike his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which delivers on its promises of free electricity, Chief Minister and Congress leader Channi makes false promises each day.Consumers of 201-400 units received around 50% subsidy from the AAP, the state's main opposition party, and Channi said he had already declared that electricity in Delhi has been made free if the AAP wins in the 2022 assembly elections, and that only 24 hours are provided.Mr Kejriwal said at the gathering that if the AAP wins, it will have produced up to 300 units of electricity free.I took one lakh such electricity bills.

Mr Kejriwal, the AAP president and Member of Parliament, said that today every segment of Punjab, including unemployed teachers, workers, farmers, traders, doctors, nurses, is dharna and protests. In Punjab, the Congress and the Akalis (Shiromani Akali Dal) made many promises to the people of Punjab, but they did not fulfil them after forming government, he said.
