The system seems to take some time to dissipate, implying rain and clouding in the region until the end of September, although the rate will gradually decrease.According to IMD, Delhi's base weather station at Safdarjung received 31.22mm rainfall between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Thursday, an amount which was considered to be modest.Palam received 56.7mm of rainfall, Lodhi Road 27.4 mm, Ridge (North) 16.8 mm, Ayanagar 45.8 mm, Delhi University 16.5 mm, Jaffarpur 18 mm, Mayur Vihar 25.5 mm, Najafgarh 29 mm, Puss 24.5 mm, and the Akshardham Sports Complex, 10 mm.The city's maximum temperature dropped by over six degrees Celsius from the previous day's high.

The minimum temperature was 23.8 degrees Celsius, compared to 25.1 degrees Celsius a day earlier.The humidity fluctuated between 100% and 87 percent.According to IMD, the maximum and minimum temperatures would be between 28 and 23 degrees Celsius on Friday.In the meantime, the city's air quality has improved from poor to excellent.
