Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2022, was approved by voice vote by state Assembly . Bill allows registered companies to avoid cancellation even if report is not submitted for six months .

JAIPUR (India): The Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2022, was approved by voice vote by the state Assembly on Thursday, allowing the registered companiescompanies to avoid cancellation even if the report is not submitted for six months.Education minister BD Kalla introduced the bill in the House on behalf of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the minister in charge, and said, The input credit tax has been amended in the bill.After paying credit tax on false claims of input credit tax, the practitioner will now be liable for the interest.Kalla also admitted that the Bill contains a system for issuing credit notes.
