Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), December 9 : As a fast-track trial began in less than two months, a Mathura court sentenced a man to death for the rape and murder of a 10-year-old child in Uttar Pradesh in the second week of October.Satish, 30, a resident of Saunkh Road in the Kotwali area, was sentenced to 57 days in jail.After strangulation, Satish's body was discovered in the woods near PMV Polytechnic College.According to reports, the police arrested 20 witnesses in connection with the investigation.
