Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad will include an anti-terrorists team.

Drones and body-worn cameras will be used by Ahmedabad police to make sure there is no untoward activity during the 145th Rath Yatra . Out of the 238 CCTV Cameras along the route, approximately 2,500 body-worn cameras would also keep an eye on any unfortunate event .

AHMEDABAD: The Anti-terrorist unit (ATS) will also be part of the Rath Yatra security force.Drones and body-worn cameras will be used by Ahmedabad police to make sure there is no untoward activity during the 145th Rath Yatra, which will be run in the city on July 1.Out of the 238 CCTV Cameras along the route, city police commissioner Sanjay Srivastav said that approximately 2,500 body-worn cameras would also keep an eye on any unfortunate event.The cops will continue to monitor the feeds of these 238 CCTV cameras, he said.

The Rath Yatra will also be closely monitored by the commandos, who will be retaliating along the route indefinitely.In addition, the city police have announced that a mini control room would be located at eight police stations, including Karanj, Madhavpua, Shahpur, Gaikwad Haveli, Sher Kotda, and Kalupur, Khadia, and Dariyapur.In addition, the moving cars will also have security cameras, which would also keep an eye on them.Among the ten teams of bomb detection and destruction, there will be chetak commando, and a dog squad.
