New Delhi, December 8: BJP leader Adesh Gupta dismissed the poaching allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday, saying that his party believes in democracy and its prestige.Sisodia also alleged that the BJP is targeting newly elected AAP councillors.BJP will work for the people of Delhi and for the development of Delhi, he said.Gupta thanked the Delhi community and congratulated the winning candidates of the BJP, saying that all the candidates who prevail will continue to reveal what is wrong in front of the people.We believe that the BJP enhanced Delhi's cleaning and health system, as well as the quality of the Nigam's schools and parks, and that we will continue to do so.

The BJP's game has begun.In a tweet, Sisodia said that phone calls were being sent to our newly elected councilors.Sisodia said that none of the councillors will be sold.The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 134 out of the total 250 wards in the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD), uprooting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 15-year struggle.

Congress was able to pick up 9 wards, though three wards were bagged by Independents.The party workers assembled in front of the office, rejoiced, danced, and chanted slogans praising party chief Arvind Kejriwal.On December 4, the polls for 250 wards in the national capital were held, with a total of 1,349 candidates.Nevertheless, the low voter turnout indicated no pro-incumbency sentiment.This was the first civic election since the new delimitation process.From 2012-2022, there were 272 wards in Delhi and three organizations-NDMC, SDMC, and EDMC-that later reunited into a MCD, which officially took place on May 22.
