RJD Neta's request for Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to open an ashram is criticised by JD(U).

Senior RJD functionary Shivanand Tiwari slammed JD(U) for proposing that Nitish Kumar open an ashram . Tiwari said Kumar had previously told him that he would open an ashram .

PATNA: Senior RJD functionary Shivanand Tiwari slammed JD(U) on Thursday for proposing that Nitish Kumar open an ashram after handing over Bihar's post to his deputy, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, after the 2025 assembly elections.Nitish Kumar isn't going to open an ashram.He has the support of tens of thousands of countrymen, who expects Nitish ji to continue to serve the Indian people while still holding the highest position of power.However, JD(U)s parliamentary board chairperson and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha tweeted that if you (Tiwari) want, you should look for another ashram.

He (Kumar) should keep it in mind.After making Tejashwi the chief minister of Bihar after the 2025 elections, he should start an ashram.In the presence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Tejashwi, and other top figures from the coalition, Tiwari made his remark.Tiwari, who was initially with Lalu and Nitish in the earliest Janata Dal, continues to switch sides between the Laluled RJD and Nitish Kumars JD(U).
