Saifuddin Ali of Bangladesh will not play in the white-ball series against the West Indies.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Thursday that their star pacer Mohammad Saifuddin and batter Yasir Ali had been ruled out of the forthcoming white-ball series against West Indies.Saifuddin suffered back pain last week and was later banned from bowling for seven days.The second Test of the two-match series will be played on Friday.Although Saifuddin is training, we are still unsure if he has the required bowling stamina to tackle the intensity of international cricket.

Since he is still struggling with his physical activity after almost two weeks of rest, we can anticipate a longer recovery period for him.According to Bangladesh physio Bayjedul Islam, he will miss the remaining matches and therefore out of the West Indies series.The second test of the two-match series is set to be played on Friday, before both teams will meet in T20Is in Roseau and Providence on July 2, 3 and 7.On July 10, 13, and 16, the three-match ODI series will be played in Providence.
